The Supre Court if India will take up 12 petitions tht were filed againest the Andhra Pradesh Bifurcation issue today. Ex-Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, YSRCP MP Mekapati and few lawyers have filed PILs in Supreme Court regarding the bifurcation and today at 2.30 PM, the apex court will hear the pleas.
Kiran mentioned in his petition that the Government of India did not follow the Constitution and in an undemocratic way the division process was carried. He also stressed that the Andhra Pradesh Assembly rejected the bill and despite that the divisin was done which is completely unconstitutional.
Sources say that Kiran has produced some vital information to the court giving hopes to keep state united. Yesterday Kiran announced that he will be launching a new political party in the name of United Andhra Pradesh. it will be a moral boost for the party if the Supreme Court takes a decision againest the bifurcation issue.
